Villa Godi Malinverni belongs to the rich artistic patrimony of Venetian Villas. Andrea Palladio built the villa in 1542; Gianbattista Zelotti, Battista del Moro and Gualtiero Padovano adorned it with frescoes.

After having bought it in 1962, in a situation of degradation, Prof. Remo Malinverni used his last years of life to renew its ancient magnificence.
Villa Godi MalinverniThe exterior
The front facade looks West. A stairway takes to a hall with frescoes, that lies among two small terraces protected by a balustrade. It is possible to observe the strong structure of the pillars that divide and support the three arches. In the central one, to decrease the austerity, there is the Godi coat of arms, with the shape of a climbing lion.
At the left side of the villa a small porch that holds a second floor. The right wing contains a private flat at the ground floor and a conference hall at the first floor. The map of the villa is very simple: an entry hall and the central hall divide the spaces of the “noble” floor in two perfectly symmetric parts with four rooms on each side.
